Ridgefield Playhouse

From the North
Take I-84 West to Exit 3 onto Route 7 South.
Take 7 South to the light at Route 35 (by Belzoni’s Grill) and take a right.
Follow Route 35 into Ridgefield, and continue onto Main Street after a single blinking light.
You will bear left to follow the main road.
Go through town until the 3rd traffic light, there will be a stone church on your right.
Take a left onto Governor Street; proceed through the intersection and a small way up the hill.
Look for the left hand entrance to the rear parking lot of the large brick building.
The Playhouse is in the center area of this "E" shaped building.

From the South
Take I-684 to Exit to the Katonah/Cross River exit.
Take a right off the exit ramp and follow Route 35 for about 10 mile through Cross River, across Route 123
until the intersection of Route 35 & 33 where there is a fountain.
Make a left onto Main Street
At the first traffic light (there will be a stone church on your left) make a right onto Governor Street.
Proceed through the intersection and a small way up the hill. Look for the left hand entrance to the rear parking lot of the large brick building.
The Playhouse is in the center area of this "E" shaped building.

Norwalk

From I-95 North:
Exit 16: Turn Left onto East Avenue, at the third light turn right onto Sunset Hill Avenue.
Turn right at the driveway a hundred yards up Sunset Hill Avenue into the City Hall parking lot. Use the main entrance into City Hall.

From I-95 South:
Exit 16: Turn right onto East Avenue, at the second light turn right onto Sunset Hill Avenue.
Turn right at the driveway a hundred yards up Sunset Hill Avenue into the City Hall parking lot. Use the main entrance into City Hall.

From Merritt Parkway North:
Exit at the Route 7 south Exit 39. Take the connector to I-95 north to exit 16, turn left at the end of the ramp onto East Avenue.
Pass three traffic lights, at the third light turn right onto Sunset Hill Avenue. Turn right at the driveway a hundred yards up Sunset Hill Avenue onto the parking lot.
Use the main entrance into City Hall.

Locally, using Route 53 and/or the Newtown Turnpike:
From parts of Wilton and Westport, if you can get to the Newtown Turnpike or Route 53 (aka. Chestnut Hill Rd.) heading into Norwalk, simply follow either road until they merge
(the result is called Newtown Avenue for a while, then it miraculously becomes East Avenue - if you're from around here, you're familiar with this phenomenon!).
Simply follow East Avenue and you'll come to a light at an incredibly complex intersection (shortly after you cross US 1, aka the Post Road).
Your goal is to cross this intersection continuing on East Avenue (it's actually a bit of a 'bend" to the left - just stay on the main road and you'll be OK!). Turn left onto Sunset Hill Avenue.
Turn right at the driveway a hundred yards up Sunset Hill Avenue onto the parking lot. Use the main entrance into City Hall.

From I-91 North and Southbound
Take Capitol Area Exit 29A. Go straight to the rotary.
Go halfway around rotary, and bear right onto Elm Street.
Take first left onto West Street. Take right onto Capitol Avenue.
The Bushnell is one block on the right.

From I-84 Eastbound
Take Capitol Avenue/Asylum Street Exit 48B.
Bear right for Capitol Avenue. At light, turn left onto Capitol Avenue.
The Bushnell is one block down on the left.

From I-84 Westbound
Exit Downtown Hartford. At light go left onto Columbus Boulevard.
At third traffic light, turn right onto Arch Street.
Go through two lights and onto rotary.
Go halfway around rotary, bear right onto Elm Street.
Take first left onto West Street.
Take right onto Capitol Avenue.

Follow I-91 South to Exit 1 onto Route 34 connector
Take Exit 1 off Route 34 "Downtown New Haven"

Via the Merritt Parkway (Route 34 instructions)
Take Exit 57 (Route 34) straight downtown into New Haven (approx. 3-5 miles)
Turn Left onto Church St. (after overpass-there is a community park on far Right)
At fourth light, turn left onto Chapel St.
At second light, turn left onto College St.
Shubert Theater is the second building on the left
Parking garage entrance is just past the theater on your left.

Via the Merritt Parkway (Route 63/69/Whalley Avenue instructions)
Take exit 59. At end of ramp, take right onto Rt. 69 which turns into Whalley Ave.
Continue straight on Whalley Ave. for approx. 3 miles
Upon entering Yale University area (be prepared for right hand turn
at corner of small green) take a right onto College St.
Go straight through light, Shubert Theater is the second building on the left.
Parking garage entrance is just past the theater on your left.

From the West
Take Exit 5 off I-84 to first traffic light (Main Street).
Turn right and continue on Main Street to White Street (fourth traffic light).
Turn left on White Street and continue 1/2 mile.
The campus is on the left. Turn left on Fifth Avenue and White Hall is the first building on your right.
Parking is available in the parking garage on the right.

From the East
Take Exit 5 off I-84 to first traffic light (Clapboard Ridge Road).
Turn right and continue on (Clapboard Ridge will turn into Main Street) to White Street (fifth traffic light).
Turn left on White Street and continue 1/2 mile.
The campus is on the left. Turn left on Fifth Avenue and White Hall is the first building on your right.
Parking is available in the parking garage on the right.
