BingoMania is held on the second or third Saturday of each month at The Annex Y.M.A. Club, 554 Woodward Avenue, New Haven. Follow us on Facebook for updates.

Bingomania is a cash event. We do not accept credit cards. Your $25 admission includes cards for all 12 regular games (not including Special Games). All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Doors open, and admissions are sold beginning at 6:00 PM. If you wish, you may arrive any time after 4:15 PM and pick up a number to hold a place in line. Be sure to return prior to 6PM to queue up in numerical order. A number does not guarantee a seat if you are not present when the doors open.

An admission must be purchased before entering the seating area. Patrons may not purchase an admission, or save a seat, for anyone who is not present.

There is no age restriction to play bingo though the humor is adult-themed and (controlled access) alcohol is served in the room. Sealed ticket games are 18+.

Outside food is allowed (and encouraged!); however, state law prohibits beverages of any kind from being brought into the bingo hall. We offer a variety of beverages for sale, from soft drinks, water, coffee, and tea to beer, wine, and cocktails. Upcoming 2024 BingoMania dates: 5/18, 6/15, 7/20, 8/17, 9/21, 10/19, 11/16, 12/28

RULES OF THE BINGO GAMES
Each player must purchase an admission package. This entitles you to play the twelve regular games of Bingo. Players may purchase additional packets for the twelve regular games of Bingo for $12 before the games begin from the volunteers working the room. Players may also purchase additional cards before Game 15 for $1 from the volunteers working the room.


  • We play three Special Games of Bingo that are not included in the admission packet. These Special Games each have a 50/50 cash prize each up to $400. Players may purchase cards for Special Games in advance or just before each game for $1 from the volunteers working the room.
  • Bingo daubers are available for purchase at $1 each.
  • We also offer instant ways to win cash prizes with our Sealed Tickets Games. Players may purchase Sealed Tickets for $1 each from the volunteers working the room. Sealed ticket sales close and all winnings must be claimed tonight by the end of Game 10.
  • You must call out Bingo on the last number called.
  • Late Bingo call-outs will not be honored.
  • If you have Bingo, make sure you are heard as well as seen by raising your hand and yelling Bingo! If a Bingo is not seen or heard by the callers, we reserve the right to refuse the prize on that Bingo.
  • All games are closed when the host says, “We have our Bingo…”
  • In the event of more than one Bingo, the cash prize will be split evenly.
  • Since Bingomania is a fundraiser for the Connecticut Gay Men’s Chorus, you may also consider donating back all or a portion of your winnings. Thank you!!
  • There is no smoking allowed in the building at any time. One intermission will be held to allow time for smoking outside.
  • Cash is not accepted at the bar for alcohol sales. You must purchase a ticket at the drink sales table. Although there is no age restriction to play Bingo, you must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages according to CT State Law. 
  • Completing the registration form will make you eligible for door prizes during the night. It also gives us your contact information so we can keep you informed on future Bingomanias and CTGMC events. Just give the completed form to any of the volunteers walking around the room. 
  • Bingomania events may be photographed and recorded for CTGMC publicity purposes. Your admission implies your consent to be recorded. Thank you!

Community outreach is a central part of the CTGMC’s mission.
Recent Bingomanias have benefited a broad range of community organizations, including Special Olympics, AIDS Project New Haven, and the CT Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.

The CTGMC’s Community Outreach Program endeavors to feature a community organization each month at Bingomania! The goal is to further awareness about worthy causes and afford organizations an opportunity to promote their upcoming fundraising events. The non-profit also has the opportunity to staff a table at Bingomania, to distribute promotional materials and, time-permitting, address the audience from the stage. Although we don’t directly solicit monetary donations through this program, we do act as a collection point and our audience is asked to donate items that may be needed by the group. Please email us to inquire about featuring your non-profit organization.
